  1. I've wanted for quite some time to use Thieves mainly for cleaning my home, I'd like to have the household cleaner for that but also want Thieves EO for other types of disinfecting where the household spray isn't strong enough or convenient to carry with me. I would like to know how much it costs to become a distributor. We are buying a home with closing in a few weeks so money is tight right now. I'd be interested in the least expensive start-up cost.

    1. When applying any citrus oil topically, I would use caution since they are photosensitive and can make you more prone to sunburn. Many resources state to avoid grapefruit juice when using a Retinoic Acid I would use caution with these two. That being said. I would try Purification Blend for acne.

    1. I would try Sandalwood as it is high in Sesquiterpines and Vetiver may also help. Frankincense, Valerian,Cedarwood, Roman Chamomile are good options as well. Also, look up Neuro Auricular Technique. The NAT was developed by D. Gary Young in the Ecuador clinic in 2007, I have heard it was developed with neurological issues such as Parkinson’s in mind.

The purpose of the Neuro-Auricular Technique (NAT) is to jump-start and reconnect all of the synapses of the brain and upper spine, particularly in the locus ceruleus and vagal ganglia. The locus ceruleus or medulla is also the portal through which the vital life energy flows into your body. The vagus nerve regulates heartbeat, is involved in release of tears, controls digestion and peristalsis, production of hormones, control of sphincter muscles, ovarian and uterine function, prostate function, and sexual response.

NAT focuses on the occipital ridge, particularly the medulla (center depression at base of skull) and along the 7 vertebra of the spine between the skull and shoulders that comprise the neck)

NAT helps to make sure this vital nerve junction is fully functioning along with the rest of the brain.

THE OILS USED: Frankincense is mostly monoterpenes for balancing and reprogramming. Valerian, Vetiver, Cedarwood, and Sandalwood are all mostly sesquiterpenes for oxygenating the brain and ganglia and to delete misinformation at the level of cellular DNA. Roman Chamomile is mostly esters for emotional release.

  8. how are these oils different from do terra?

    1. Gary Young of Young Living started this company 20 years ago. DoTerra started in 2008 as an offshoot of Young Living as the founders of DoTerra used to work for Young Living and have copied their formulas. Young Living owns its own farms and distilleries around the world. DoTerra sources all their oils. Young Living subjects each batch of oil to high tech testing to ensure potency and purity.

Six of the founding members of doTerra’s company leadership are currently being sued by Young Living for allegedly stealing proprietary, protected information including oil recipes, vender lists, and customer lists.

It has recently come to light and been verified by a 3rd-party laboratory in France that doTerra peppermint oil contains the synthetic chemical additive ethyl vanillin, and doTerra lavender oil is adulterated with the synthetic additive linalyl acetate as well as geranium and chamomile essential oils. 11. I'm still pretty new to essential oils.... Are there any oils that react poorly with each other?

Do you have any things you've replaced with the oils? Like deodorant...

    1. Actually Young Living has deoderants and toothpastes and shampoos made with EO's. So yes I have and I am in the process of replacing cleaners and mouthwash etc.

      Delete
    2. I have not seen any that react negatively with each other as there are many blends of oils that contain several different oils and they compliment each other. However, there might be cases when blends react with blends or where EO's used with petrochemicals have strange reaction since the EO's will react with the petrochemicals.
